I would agree that you should track your car before you mod it. I did auto-x for a year before I started modding it more. I only had a catback. The biggest difference you will notice, get a new rear sway bar. Even a stock sedan bar on a stock suspension wagon will make a huge difference.
Yup +1 for ulaps.

For track day info look here:

https://www.i-club.com/forums/meetings-events-donuts-91/2008-california-open-track-day-schedule-177615/

You only need a helmet (snell rated) and a car in good working order for TRACK DAYS... which is NOT RACING.

For racing, you need a LOT more... including a racing license...

You need to start with track days first.

I already bought a catback, so I am thinking a used dp, cobb ap for starters.
Thasts about $800. Then, I am thinking a set of bigger rotas from subydude and either a set of good springs, struts or some bc racing br coilovers.
What do you guys think? I know thats closer to 3000 but whatever.
I also would love a seat, because the wrx one is so big and uncomfortable haha im only 130 pounds, but I don't wanna cheap out so I should prly wait to find a used bride.
Any suggestions to further my improvements in a better way haha?
I'll trade you seats, with my 06 TR, that are not as big and bulky. If not, I thought I'd try. Keep that wagon! Sometimes I wish I bought the wagon.

Don't buy a used STI unless you get a lifetime powertrain warranty... at least that is what I would do.

sorry but no I could never downtrade to a set of adjustable head-rest seats
I would rather leave mine and just replace the drivers seat with something comfy and quality...like a bride gias

Wow...I don't really care what others think, but when a bunch of loser thug a** teenagers chuck a huge cup of ice at your car because it's a wagon? Makes me think I wan't an STI just so I stop getting harassed and my car doesn't get vandalized!!!!
Im so sick of Walnut Creek!!!
Every kid here acts all hard and tough, when they live in their 1 million + dollar homes. It just shows you what money and or egos will do to a kid.
