After some tweaking they'd make it go live, and then they would continue tweaking til they found a final product that they liked.

nm, that made too much sense.

Wow!

What an understanding bucnh.

Anyways, I am not going to argue with anyone. Like I said, I am still working on it. It will take some time to finalize it. I am not going to do no stupid beta testing behind your backs. I did that with the tecnnical aspect of it. That is why the upgrade went without a single problem. Our database that drives the forums is over 2 gig in size and it survived. The visual tuning of the site will have no beta testing. I am going to listen to what you guys have to say (unless you are just being a dick about it) and d o changes. Otherwise, I am not going to try to do something that will satisfy 28,000 people from the first try.

Peace out...

that would be cool, it should be able to do that. that way someone can build a classic skin and the babys can have it that way.

errr...

i prefer the "plain" look of the old format. the content should speak for itself...no offense to you, alex, but do we need this new format? ease of use (reading) and the slow loading time aside, do we need the fancy look?

there's somethign to be said about simplicity.

i'll wait and see how this new format turns out; just want to say that one of the (among many) things i liked about i-club was that we didn't need to rely on fancy icons or foofoo text styles, signatures, graphic, etc. to make this site what it is today.

I'm with Dre, this site seems to load WAY faster now. Something happened everytime i used the old format and it would be very slow.

I do agree with some of the comments about colors and spacing, but all in all i think that when everything is updated and changed over it should be slammin'!!!

 CONGRATS ALEX!!! GREAT JOB!!!

to all the people *****ing... give it some time and try and give constructive criticism instead of *****ing at Alex, its hard enough doing what he does already without everyone complaining.

what happened to i-club?!
i agree with everyone on the format being very hard to read and to decipher what is the actual message as opposed to other junk.

also. for ppl with small screens, the whole image doesn't fit on the screen making one have to scroll sideways in addition to down to catch a whole message.

go back to how it was!!

Yah the window needs to auto-size to the width you want. I'm running 1600x1200 and I usually put two browsers side by side. Doesn't work with this fixed width thing.

i'm indifferent to the change. the colors are easy on the eyes, it's clean, non cluttered. either format works for me.

oh, i just noticed the little pop up window that let's you preview the thread with out opening it - i likey.

realize that the only reason it is so wide is cause oddys3y keeps putting in a blank picture that is 1000 pixels wide to widen the screen

The main problem is the background gradient because it lags everything. It would also be nice to eliminate all the gay graphics above and below each post.
