Can a local help me w/ boost prob?
Well, after some observation from mpj, I've realized that I donot have the stock boost controll hooked up.....the lines are connected to the wastegate.
It was the fault of a stupid speed shop in SF that didn't hook up my setup properly after my EBC removal..... Does anyone have the stock boost control unit???? I'm not sure what it is or looks like, or how it works, but that should bring my car back to what it's supposed to be boosting (right now @ 0.5 bar)
If anyone can help today, that would be AWESOME!
No wonder my car felt so slow after I got the EBC removed...I thought it was normal and just got used to it after awhile.
If possible, please call 415 205 5294
THANKS guys,
Frank

The stock solenoid is mounted on the passenger side of the engine bay, under than little plate below the shock tower. I sure hope they didn't disconnect and remove it, it's a little black thing with two tubes going in and out of it.
So the line arrangement should be
wastegate--------->------plastic T-----<restrictor<----turbo output nipple
then from the T to the solenoid. The solenoid output should connect to the turbo intake pipe.
If you really need some local eyes, let me know and I can take a look at it.
