Can a JDM GC8 be easily registered in CA? (was: is this legit)
if so is it possible to register it here. i understand i could register it as off road only like a track car or something but what about for the road?

i'd believe the price. old cars in japan are dirt cheap. you can find a r33 skyline for about 10k american. but the thing about getting cars from japan is that it can sit at costumes forever.

yeah, i dont mind if its at customs for like a couple of months. i have a car now and if i cant get it registered for the street then ill just register it for off road only and make it a track car.
i don't mean months, i mean forever. there was a story of some people that imported some cars over from germany and the cars never left customs... they ended up having to ship them back.

Why does it have the V1 and V2 hood vents if it's the 1998 model?
Also, 98 should have a different front bumper, and headlights. (non-clear headlight unlike the ones shown, which are very clear)
