Can a JDM GC8 be easily registered in CA? (was: is this legit)
if so is it possible to register it here. i understand i could register it as off road only like a track car or something but what about for the road?

hmmm... a true GC8!! the price seems to be too good to be true... :( never dealt with them before so can't say much...
|
i'd believe the price. old cars in japan are dirt cheap. you can find a r33 skyline for about 10k american. but the thing about getting cars from japan is that it can sit at costumes forever.
|
yeah, i dont mind if its at customs for like a couple of months. i have a car now and if i cant get it registered for the street then ill just register it for off road only and make it a track car.

lol "ford mustang GT $69K!"

i don't mean months, i mean forever. there was a story of some people that imported some cars over from germany and the cars never left customs... they ended up having to ship them back. |
^ damn that would suck balls

Why does it have the V1 and V2 hood vents if it's the 1998 model?
Also, 98 should have a different front bumper, and headlights. (non-clear headlight unlike the ones shown, which are very clear) |
It can be brought in for show or race purposes, But they have a time limit then it gets shipped back.

yeah, and the kicker is that the cars they were shipping over were track cars, not cars for the street. |
