i got a phillips 55" projection tv for like $1200 at best buy. you'd be surprised at what a grand or two can buy you these days when it comes to TV's.

Whoa, easy there company man.....I would argue that what Best Buy did is not exactly right either. Sounds to me like a nice little ploy to get more $$ from a consumer that, most likely wouldn't have bought said TV without the financing that he was promised. He shouldn't have to go call the credit card company. I would return it out of principle for the BS they are trying to pull.

I say return it and go to Circuit City or some other nice electronics vendor in your area. Apply for a conventional credit card if thats the way you want to go. I got my Discover card with no APR on purchases for up to six months and 0% apr on transfers for eight months with a 5,000 dollar limit and my credit aint that great.
