Guys, I just received my Subaru Chase Master Card in the mail... I went on subaru's site and saw that they offer 3% of what you buy to convert it into subaru bucks... I figured this is pretty cool for the stuff that you have to do anyways.. as far as gas, food, etc..
Just wondering if anyone else has it and do the subaru bucks really work as far as getting things for your car or work done on your car?
Thanks :-)

I've had the subaru card for about 6 months, and have accumulated about $130 subaru bucks. Every $100 they give you a certificate that you can use for oil changes, tune-ups, etc. I think you can use it for parts, but it has to be directly from subaru.
I haven't tried to use any yet, but I think you just bring them to the dealer when you pay for your service.

Ya, I have it. You can use it for pretty much anything at the dealership. If you are using a credit card you might as well get the 3% back, it's like free oil changes, tune-ups, and repairs depending on how much you spend. Good deal in my opinion unless you qualify for the AMEX that gives you 5% back cash.

Can you say STi suspension? I've had it 6 months and have $300 Subie bucks. Only 900 to go. I should have the parts for the front end by next April and another year after that I'll have the rear end. I was even thinking of getting a separate card for my wife so I could accumulate more than the $500 a year and get the parts sooner!

The duplicate card won't up your $500 limit so it doesn't do any good. She doesn't have a subie so I'll just get her to order the parts!
I don't know that it will make that much difference anyway. It might get me an extra $100 or $200 subie bucks in a year. I don't think I charge more than $20k a year. I've been putting everything I can on that card including my utility and phone bills.

Great card, saved me more than $1,000 bucks already. (new CD player, new tires, 30,000 inspection, etc...)
