Call for legislation to execute...
... crystal meth producers and sellers!
I'm sure some of you out there have been battling seasonal allergies and quite honestly, all of those re-formulated meds fall severely short of the real stuff. So the past couple of days, my whole family have been suffering from pretty bad allergies. We were down to just one ClaritinD and just one Sudafed. Gave the Sudafed to my daughter and the Claritin to my wife. No problem, I'll just pop over to my local Walgreens five blocks away. I got there four (count em... four) mintues after the pharmacy closed. SOL for me. I drive from the Sunset all the way down to 18th Ave and Geary where they got a 24 hour pharmacy. Got all the way down there waited 20 minutes in line and guess the fuch what!!!! All out should be more tomorrow.
Suffering the whole night through. Finally make it back to my local Walgreens the next day. Wait another 10 minutes in line. Great! I see both packages right within reach. No problem. My wife orders both of those bad boys up. Pharmacist says, "I'm sorry I can only sell you one or the other." WTH??? "Or we can run two separate transactions and your husband (me) can get the other one. 15 minutes for the pharmacist to type in ALL of our information into their system.
"Wait..." I said. "We've purchased these before, I'm sure we're in your system. Isn't there a way where you can just run her Drivers License? It should save you a lot of time." The pharmacist replies. "No. Have to type it all in". I look behind us and there's a line of pissed off people, some in dire need of having their scripts filled and I'm here dicking around with all this crap. In and out of Walgreens with two boxes of allergy medicine in just shy of 50 minutes.
I'll start going door to door with a petitition to make it a capital crime to manufacture or distribute crystal meth tomorrow. Please have a box of Kleenex ready when I arrive.... GRRRRRRR
