Oh man, that was so damn much fun a few years ago. I have been DJ sloppy drunk and the fresh fish there just about every year. We went last year and it was so packed we ended up just chillin on the balcony at the Coop having beers there. My friend lives close, so we walk there and stagger back. Good times.

Mmmmmm... Lox. No, just an asiago cheese bagel with cream cheese. I used to like to start the day with salmon and onions a lot more when I was working helpdesk.

Quote of the week IMO.

I've recently begun the move back to the People's Republic from a "free state," and it's increasingly disappointing that this state does not want its citizens to take up arms against, well, anyone.

I live on a good chunk of land (115 acres) and have no issues with over-penetration which is why I readily recommended the SOCOM for HD; because my definition of "home defense" extends past 100yds and includes non-human elements such as coyotes. However, I realize that many of you here live in urban areas where the chances of disastrous consequences occurring from over-penetration are much higher.

If I ever have to move out of the boondocks and back into the bay I'd surely move the 870 to the top of the heap.

I totally agree with you, the ACOG is probably the best upgrade to any SOCOM. I had a TA01 with the Docter Optic on a Stag 15L which will be sorely missed.

Are there any i-Club shooting meets? If not, there should be.

Ha! Let me know if you're going this year and I'll buy ya a beer (or at least the tickets required to do so.)

It's all about the King's Head Pub after-party. The last two or three years they've had a special for a shot Jäg and a pint of Guinness for $5

Man this thread is all kinds of OT.

Sounds good, we should def be there. I still haven't been to the King's Head for some reason. I have driven by it for the last 10 years and still never been in. That would rock for sure.

There were a couple few years back, but I personally missed them. Since I have gotten rid of everything, so I'd need to rent. Never even been to a range before (plenty of "private ranges" but not sure if that counts) so it would be fun.

Would be pretty fun, it's been a few years since I have fired a gun.

^ yeah i wonder that too...if someone spends ALL their money on them its scary, but if its like 10% of their income its normal...maybe

when i go camping, this guy brings like 10 sick looking guns, but its only because hes not good at riding dirtbikes like the rest of the campers haha
