(Didnt get it from his shop, actually called my original shop and told them I wanted one, and they gave me a price of $16**, couldn't be happier.

Damn man you got the hook up. You didn't get the rail did you? Now the decision still remains...........Eotech or ACOG?

The rail is fine for me since I'm so big... I prefer it actually.
EO Tech FTW.
The other M1A has a Bushnell elite scope on it which is probably one of the best scopes Ive ever used. I'd let you try it out if I were to go out shooting any time soon...

I'm familiar with it. We have have Leupolds on our M21 systems that work great. If you can see it can can basically bring the pain. Me personally, I'd have an Eotech all up on that thing but I don't care how big someone is I still don't see a reason for the rail. Personal preference I guess. I'm not small (190 6 foot 2) and I don't want any weight that isn't absolutely necessary.

Paul, your avatar rocks. I have a whole lot of Martzen in the fridge that I'm holding 'till it magically becomes Oktoberfest giving me a cultural excuse to drink it in great quantities even on weekdays.
I'll be attending Oktoberfest in Campbell again this year and I can't friggin wait.
Back on a related topic: I'm still batting around the idea of getting rid of my Sig SP2340 for a .45 XD, but I can't decide. It would be tough to get rid of the Sig, but I'm a SA man at heart.
