Car Info: 2016 Acura RDX ... meh. Um, nice subwoofer?
Wouldn't it just be easier to make a scoop that went under the chasis right in front of the wheel well, instead of all the routing from the front bumper?
You could make it attach to the side of the well under the chasis and have it turn right into the inside of the wheel.
Does this make sense?

I don't think I understand....how would you attach it in the first place?? Would you use zip ties or something like that. I guess you could design a scoop that would use the existing holes for the supposedly stock air duct. But it would be nice to just have this...since it seems like this was a mistake from Subaru.

I finally remembered to take a look today. I'm pretty sure the plastic pieces are all there (I can't see daylight through the front bumperwork) but will check it out from underneath this weekend. My car is an 02 special-ordered mid-2002 and arriving in August.

Hello Huck:
I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. _Your patience is
appreciated. _I discussed your message with our Technical Services
Department. _They advised that there was a mid-year design change for the
2002 WRX models. _This mid-year change was to stop manufacturing the 2002
WRX models with these brake cooling ducts. _There is no effect, negative or
positive, with regards to this change.
If you need any future assistance, please feel free to contact us.
Best wishes,
John J. Mergen
