Boost leak

I brought my car in for service today and they ran a diagnostic and found I had a "pretty bad boost leak". I don't drive the car daily anymore but how important is it I have it fixed ASAP and where are some places I should start checking?

Found this surprising as I had a boost leak test back in Feb before I could go on the dyno. Only put 5k since then on the car just driving to and from work.

They just ambiguiously said there was a bad leak and didn't take any measures to check for where it might be? Or did they start saying it'd be another $xx/hr to start looking?

Check all your hoses/connections, tighten them, and look up the soapy water trick on YouTube, that's a start. Replace hoses as needed.

This car stock or had some work done to it?

No, they would have charged for that.

I should have mentioned... the car is not stock. The most recent work was the Cobb EBC, Grimmspeed uppipe and EWG and Crawford AOS. I had it tuned by Cobb back in Feb.

I'll definitely start with you and Rescuer's tips!

Checked the TB to it hose but the couplers look in good condition still. Anything else I should check?

I also ran a data log via my AP but didn't notice any loss of boost a WOT (3rd great pull)

good point.

Mine looked okay but there was little or no tension on them, it practically fell off.

Maybe but I took the log prior to checking these. I'm wondering if the service advisor just misinterpreted the Tech. It wasn't documented on my service report ?
