The people who are hating on him for the move are friggin idiots. Subaru gave him NOTHING to work with, so he made a move forward which is exactly what all of us would have done.

Part 2 of the interview mentions rear-drive Fiesta conversion for his next video. I'm interested...

Yes, Ken made the right choise. It dosent bother me that he's racing for Ford, it's just the few people who own fords (like doushe bags with fox bodies or wippled lightnings) come up to me and laugh.

Gosh I hate the doushie ford owners. People that tend to drive the high end fords are better

I agree with you, but it's not specific to Ford... We def have a close knit community (well, not so much anymore) where our cars are (well, used to be) pretty exclusive and rare enough to where we'd attract niche enthusiasts, and fortunate for us, they used to be the more mature crowd that were attracted to the WRC, and road racing, and NOT street racing. Now that our cars have been available for over 12 years, the cost of used ones has gone down drastically and has attracted the less favorable crowd. I've seen some HORRIBLE examples of subie drivers on the road... I've had subies do anything from try to race me from a stop light to try to race me in traffic all of whom thought they were so cool while doing it.

We also have some really problamatic people amongst our small niche group (BAIC) that do their best to cause problems with others, threaten others online, cause vendor drama, and even cause legal problems for some (I think some of you will remember who I'm talking about). We're not immune to our bad apples, that's for sure.

When I first joined BAIC 10 years ago, we were a really small group of guys who all joked around with each other by talking smack to each other (in a very sarcastic way, like grease monkeys always do) but over the years things have changed and you can't even joke with someone anymore without them getting all mad and causing drama.

We do however have some really mature and some of the coolest people in the car world! I've met some of the most amazing people via BAIC, both 10 years ago and in recent times. We have a good group of people here, our best bet is to keep it this way and to try to set an example amongst our newest members.

well I really would have liked to see ken block entering with subaru into WRC, I mean there are better drivers like solberg who've been with subaru in the past, but I think he could do well with more experience. I know he likes subies and wanted to go to WRC in one, but alas Subaru has pulled out.

I still can't believe that Subaru pulled out of the WRC. I bet if Mitsubishi didn't do it first that they'd both still be in it.

I wish Toyota, Mitsu, and Subaru were all in it again... Those were the good old days of some crazy competition! Ford has always been there and I can't hate any WRC car, which is why the WRC ford is the ONLY ford I like (in the history of ford).
