I don't think anyone here is anti religion.... especially when it comes to Christian faith or Catholic faith.. I think some people are just to wrapped up in it and they don't logically question the faiths. I always have my students question the fact of why they are choosing their faith and why they are ready to be confirmed. If you go in it blindly just because you were raised catholic or whatever, that's just ignorant. Being an adult is about making the right decisions... and if you don't know why you're doing what you're doing or why you believe in something.. that's ignant. Cars are part of life.. and for some people religion is too. Car + religion = life (for some people) totally related to car forum. yes,... me likes. must have the precious

I think churches shouldn't tell their parishoners how they should vote. Threatening if they don't vote Bush, they aren't "good Christians".
I don't think church is the place to bring up any other topics besides religious related topics.

However I'm the first to admit I despise Bush, and also right-wing hardcore zealot Christians, just as much as I do muslim extremists...

That is pure selfishness to bring a child into the world in hopes to repair their marriage. Poor baby. I hope deep down your sister and her husband really do want that child for more selfless reasons.your sister's got major issues from her lack of self esteem probably stemming from her crappy husband and unsupportive church group.
