Mt Diablo intimidates the shiz out of me. One I dont think I could climb it, two Im scared I would burn my brakes trying to go down it, lol.
you guys want to try it today? I'm not in great shape, but the downhill is worth every brutal pedalstroke
gotta true up my rear wheel, i can get to the base in about an hour

I'm down to do the SF - Tiburon Bike ride again with a group. Park our cars I believe around Pier 39, cruise across the Golden Gate Bridge, and end up at Sam's in Tiburon. We most likely will have to Ferry it back as I don't think anyone will want to ride after being at Sam's for a few hours. haha
BTW, here is another popular loop in the Palo Alto area. It's called the Old La Honda Loop:

I think you'll be fine if you follow a good line and stay comfortable; single bike brakes don't overheat but apprehension will bite you mid corner, and never brake if you are leaned over. I might try an after work diablo attack some time if I can.
And lulz to the turbo! Thanks for being patient with the cagefight, I was glad to see that new up pipe replace the 'two-piece' mod you had going.
