According to cbs news Lien has already been treated for his wounds and released. No charges will be filed against him and there has already been 2 arrests after nypd released pics of the offending bikers.
If I were the range rover driver I would continue to take this into a civil court and sue everyone involved even the guy that was ran over and in a coma. Emotional trauma to my family is worth a lot of money ......lawyers field day

Only trouble with filing a suit is it opens the door for counter suits. But my guess is the guy that got run over... he'll file a suit anyways. So might as well sue everyone. LOL!
Pretty obvious what happened as things are progressing as far as information goes. I'm actually very glad that he is being released without facing charges. It leaves open the thought that we can do whatever we need to do in order to protect ourselves and our family from a real and present threat to our safety.

Isnt suing what all red blooded americans do? Lol
In all seriousness, I do feel bad for the man ran over, for all we know he might really have been in the wrong place at the wrong time. Probably a bad idea to open lawsuits as it does draw some public opionion flak to you being a gold digger

Got this from the yahoo comments, no idea if this is all true or not:
Edwin E. Mieses, 26, Nov. 28, charged with operating a motor vehicle after license was revoked, illegal possession of a Class D narcotic, operating a motor vehicle with defective equipment and on five outstanding warrants;
Arrested Again in May, Since 1999, he has been ticketed by police 16 times, in Lawrence, Methuen, Roxbury, Andover, and New Hampshire, according to registry records.
In June, the Registry notified the National Driver Register that Mieses was a habitual traffic offender whose right to drive in Massachusetts was revoked until 2017, records show."
Sounds like he was intentionally looking for a payday in insurance claims and lawsuits with this incident.

He was the guy that walked over right? Not the guy that slowed him down and got bumped?
Either way... sounds like the dude was a POS.
Glad more facts are coming in.

and honestly... doesn't have much to do with these events anywho. If he was the guy that slowed him down and got hit then I'd see it.
But he walked over so I don't think he was trying to cash in.
I'm sure more and more stuff will come out on both sides. It's a pretty dramatic video. I'm just glad the wife and kid are o.k.
Just imagine what would have happened if that dude rolled his RR trying to get away.
That crap happened here in Salinas. Dude saw his stolen motorcycle in the back of a truck. Tried to stop the guy. Ended up rolling his suburban and killing his 2 year old daughter.

That dude actually has some skills. LOL!
Probably gonna get more press from this than he could have without it. And he'll have street cred for being in a chair. Probably gonna get picked up by some label now.

I just saw this, and this just really pissed me off.
My heart goes to the Lien family, and hope they all recover from the trauma. Hopefully they find those *******s.

The more I read the more I agree with you. Fortunately the kid is young enough that it probably won't remember.
