Question Best way to reach EGT Probe?

What's the best way to reach the EGT probe? Underneath or over the top through the engine bay? I need to tighten it down.

Take out the airbox, cut the wire, plug in the 2.2k ohm resistor, and use a stubby box end wrench to remove the sensor. Plug the hole with a bolt. Throw sensor away.

This is what you'll be doing in a couple months anyway when your sensor fails (if your uppipe is catless).

Easiest way for someone like me who is completely mechanically challanged? Call on one of BAIC's renowned characters to come to your house and help out. Tommah!!!!!

It's from the top. Tommy and I did the resistor mod and ended this ongoing BS with the constantly blowing EGT probe. Tommy came by and did the work and all it cost me was dinner!

BTW, it was easier to reach the EGT from the from the top...

Glad you enjoyed dinner. It was our pleasure. Nothing like breaking bread with good friends. It was the least I could do for having you come all this way.

You're always welcome to our home... with reservations. We're booking about 2-3 weeks out, be sure to call ahead.
