Best place to buy toluene?

Anyone who is using toluene care to share where they buy it from. Which paint store, chemical supply store, etc and price for it.

dan - i'm pretty sure home depot only sells it in 1 gallon containers though.

miguel - toluene is about 114 octane. I am planning on mixing one gallon of it in 10 gallons of 91 octane and that will give me 93 octane. I am only going to do this on rare occasions when i want to have fun and run a more advanced map.

damn $2 a gallon isn't bad. Maybe if anyone is interested we can do a group buy/split for one 55 gallon drum. I only want like 10 gallons of it so if anyone wants to chip in and then we can all split it up.

Actually if you have a garage or someplace to store it, you can buy 55 gal drums of 100 ocatane and they will ship it right to your door. The cost of this is around $4.15/gal the last time I checked.

I purchased Toulene last year for around $12-$15/5 gallons at Sherwin Willimas. I think I mixed 2 gals in my tank for something like 94 Octane? I forget....

((13*91)+(2*114))/15=94

yea well like i said this is for weekend use only and not something i need to be running all the time since i am still on the stock turbo and it's not required. I just want to be able to run the stage 2 map and not have to pull so much timing so i dont knock. And i can't store a 55 gallon drum or pay for one thats why if anyone wants to group buy speak up and we can do either the toluene or 100 octane then divide it up.

Andy - thnx alot. Also did u get the turbo timer out of your car, if so i will bring the money for that.

WTF? Toluene is like $8-10/gal at Home Depot and Sherwin Williams. Xylene is a bit cheaper.

Maybe its just another SF fuel jacking thing

Toluene > Xylene

But the ultimate is unobtainium: Benzine!
