The Bay Area speed trap thread
Post up the speed traps. I don't advocate speeding but I would much prefer the cops spend their time pulling over crappy drivers (like cell phone users going 15mph under in the fast lane and drifting back and forth) than speed trapping people to make up for budget deficits.

8:30am North bound San Thomas Expressway after 17; after the hump that goes over Winchester into the blind right. Bike cop radaring people from the trees.

There's ALWAYS a speed trap on Mission BLVD in Fremont, the exact spot is right near Mission San Jose High School... If you're coming off the freeway and heading into fremont on Mission BLVD the speed limit is 40 (maybe 35?) but you're going downhill on a slight grade and it's really easy to go fast. The cops wait at the bottom of the grade so WATCH OUT!!!
