Yeah, but at this rate we may not end up with NFL starting that day this year (heck it may be a while before NFL happens again).

Granted, I prefer if we did the weekend before the regular season is supposed to start for NFL, but either way I'll probably end up being at BAM.

I prefer later though as August can get to be pretty freaking hot outside (especially if we don't have much shade depending on where we end up for BAM this year).

Well, you can't please everyone... If we do it later in the year people wont be able to make it due to school and such. The best month to do it in terms of participation is July and August. It may be hot but we'll have a lot more people. Last year we did it in Sept for the cooler temps and a lot of people couldn't make it because it was right when school started.

Lets just be sure there isn't some major event on the same day... we have a lot of members and the chances are that no matter what day you do it, it's going to be someones bday no matter what.

Seconded! It doesn't get much more central to the entire bay than Treasure Island.

We tried Treasure Island last year but they were demolishing the site that we wanted to rent. Is Treasure Island still available for large gatherings?

August 28th is RTA Miller, not sure that would effect the attendance much but figured I would throw it out there.
