I'll def be boarding this winter now that my knee is 99% better. Prob won't be getting a season pass though, wouldn't be able to make use of every weekend like I should... plus with how crappy last winter was doesn't make me want to get one.

Overall I'm stoked for this season though and hoping for lots of good powder days *crosses fingers*

Also I wanna get back at Kirkwood, I love that place and haven't been there in a looong time.

Btw the swap WILL be seeing some winter excursions this season for sure!

word. I ride with a monster CF knee brace.

too fat, to rusty, enjoy powder too much to ride park anymore. My days of 50 foot gaps is long past. Unless I'm smashing through powder and don't realize what I'm doing... haaaa.

^^^ trippin bro....had a pass at kirkwood last year and when it dumps that place has some of the gnarliest vertical drop and challenges in Tahoe...the runs themselves get old and i agree that its not the best place to ride overall but i didnt have confidence like i do now until i dropped in on some of the scariest sh*t ive been down like at Kirkwood

on that note...i have ridden all the resorts in tahoe and i rode Vail and MT Hood last year and Hood is the JAM for sure! but im down to ride with some clubbers for sure this year...im probably gettin my pass at Heavenly again although Northstar is my favorite here

I'm going with Heavenly this year, $379 I've had a pass to the wood for the past two years, but I'm tired of driving out that way and then back to a casino to crash. Last season I had the best pow ridding I've ever had in 11 seasons. All at Heavenly.

best pow riding in 11 seasons last year? Man you must have scored. I only recall maybe 10 decent dump days all year.

I've had some good days at heavenly but overall I just don't know the place so I don't enjoy it too much. And like kirkwood it can get icy and blown out really fast. Plus I don't like crowds or yuppies or gapers. Damn near broke my back at heavenly once.... but I will say it was in the middle of a KILLER pow run. haaaa.

I like anywhere I can get pow turns in. I'm hoping to make a trip for 4-5 days out to CO this year.

I think its nuts that you can get passes to places like heavenly and kirkwood for LESS than you can to bear valley. WTF?
