BAIC Snowboarders
What it do BAIC,
I know a bunch of us here ride all winter long. Well, the season is coming up and was wondering if you guys were goin to buy a season pass this year? If so, at what resort? For the past 4 years, Ive bought the Northstar/Sierra double whammy season. But this season, I might get a season pass at a different resort. Don't get me wrong, I love Northstar (dope *** park and pipe) but for the past few years, its starting to feel like Squaw Valley. Its super packed on the weekends to where you have to wait for about 10 riders just to hit a rail or kicker
Also, alot of my riding buddies are either no longer in the Bay Area or are still injured from last season. I would like to ride with new peepz in the Bay. Im a park rat but will NEVER pass of fresh powder runs. Let me know.

i had a northstar/sierra season pass last year, but wasn't able to go up as much as i would of liked too, so i didn't really get my moneys worth. this year i think i'm just gonna go with day passes. i'd be down to go up with some fellow i-clubbers!

Lots of guys do kirkwood runs... the sugar wood pass or whatever it is.
I know me and my brother are doing bear valley passes this year. I know there is talk of both IPOZESTU and bluwrxwagon getting them as well.
Bear Valley is my joint.
Lord willing we'll get a full winter this year and I'll be able to get in over 20 days again.
Anyone need bindings or boards? I have a couple sets of bindings, 2 brand new pairs of boots and a board I'm looking to sell.

i wanna try Bear.
If you look at Kirkwood's topo maps, the mountain is like one giant slope with little character IMO. The topo lines hardly have any depth or change.
I havent tried Sierras backcountry gates yet.
Heavenly is my favorite, so much on that mountain(s) and Sugar Bowl was cool but i was only there for a day.

I've always been a kirkwood rider and have only done other resorts for comps (in my younger days). my roommate and his two friends go to Kwood every weekend and i'm hoping to do the same.
ATTN: I need a cheap board around 156-160, large bindings, size 9-10 boots....
was planning on getting a burton vapor but ive decided i wanna pick up an 08 STI before winter, so i need to go low budget on everything else.
it would be cool to do a mammoth trip for 4-5 days though, in late Jan.

i've been passing up on the season pass deal the past few seasons. seems like the good resorts are getting WAY too packed. plus, as i get older, seems like more and more trips are vacation based (cabin for a week, etc.) so it's nice to be flexible and ride close to where you stay.
andy/other riders, let's cruise up to kirkwood and bear this season after some fresh pow. not much in the park department, but there are some monster runs with drops and some hidden technical sections.
oh and i can drive - keep those shiny hella flush wheels of yours squeaky clean!
