BAIC OT: know of a good Toyota shop to swap engines?

Someone who's done a few engine swaps (all Toyota). Closer to the Fremont area.

A shop who wont mind taking a Toyota truck and swapping in old to newer engine...

Thanks a lot...

What do you mean old for new engine? I swapped my old tired 22-RE for a brand new one in my truck. Plug an play. Easy stuff.

possible deader than disco 3vze...

timing belt went POOF the other day. thank God toyota aint like honda and their interference design.

anyways, last i saw as i crawled to a stop was lots and lots of white smoke coming out of the tailpipe. so could be the head gaskets again... and the heads... and the block.

but be assured that once i swap, i'm getting rid of that 3.slow, er, 3.0L 3vze...

Only slow in the wrong car

If there aren't any major problems such as a crack in the block or something I'd like to take it off your hands. It would be rebuilt anyways.

+1 for Blacktrax in Milpitas and Aki.

He basically took a million pieces and put together and swapped in a new 3sgte into my old alltrac.

Swapping it into my MR2. Considered going 1MZ but it's difficult to mess with VVTi ecu's.

Wait I just realized, I remember you saying you have a 4runner. This is a 3VZE not FE right?
