Honestly with friends sealing deals on houses out of state for fractions of the cost of some of the utter crap we looked at in the half to three-quarters of a million dollar range... I am thinking of elsewhere. We find ourselves leaving the bay area every chance we get anyway...

But yeah, if I had $1M cash and could put that down on a house in my area, that would mean that I would only owe 2x my friend's note that he has with 3% down on a 1acre lot w/ a 2500sq ft house in a place I actually wouldn't mind living... I am at the point where even if I HAD the money, I wouldn't buy here.

man up i! went to school for 5 hours then worked for 7 hours and i'm still good to go! but i best you beat me somehow!

 

I dug hard pan all day with a pic/shovel

 

started like this

went all the way to the wall

then had to level everything out


and went that deep all the way to the fence


now im digging out the trench for a retaining wall.. its about 14inches wide and 11 inches deep.

Mind you i havnt done all this in one day... but ive moved over 12 yards just with the pick and shovel

 

just got my new monitor in.. now i can finally put everything together took, what felt like, forever to troubleshoot the problem.. even though it wasn't that hard.

big difference going from an 8inch to a 19inch monitor. Everything's soo big.

aghh school is starting next week. now i've got 2 classes i'm debating about.. sighhh...

haha well its not really "mine"... its at my parents place.. but ill be able to use it whenever

 

get a normally fridge, drill a hole through the door for the tap and use the rest of it for whatever you want! I did it and its awesome! but the freeze portion and fridge part just stores more booze! And it eats energy since i got a little crazy with the hammer when i was making the hole for the tap!
