Any of you guys do any backcountry snowboarding. I'm want to get into it but I would like someone experienced to go w/. I have some of the gear already. Looking for someone experienced to go w/.

 

Unfortunately, unless we get more snow this season, you're pretty much out of luck unless you like riding on crappy snow between trees.

EDIT: And yes, I do hit the backcountry but probably not the safest way in the world.

 

We just got 2-3 feet in the last few days. I'm talking about real backcountry, snowshoeing in and riding out, avalanche beacons etc.

Yeah, I know. We don't use the beacons yet. Probably should though. I'm always down to explore.

 

I am interested. No experence, but I can borrow tele skis from a friend.

 

I have extra pair of snow shoes. Hey Andy how far are you from Mammoth? I want to get down there to ride before the end of the season.
