When I first came here to work in Jan 2001, I paid $1900 for a 550 sq ft 1 BR in North San Jose! Everywhere had a long waiting list and some complexes even refused to put more people on the list!

It then dropped to $1200 gradually...

Now I have moved to Pleasanton and pay $1190 for a 670 sq ft 1 BR with seperate storage room and a garage.

 

For a 2br, 1ba apartment (approximately 1200sq ft.) I'm paying $1799 with 3 parking spots (underground) in Sunnyvale (Villa Del Sol).

Granted, it's a nice place, but it's expensive.

For the south bay, I think it'd be really difficult to find a 2-br clean/safe/new for under $1400.

 

2 bdrm 1 bath house with 1 car garage in san mateo for $1500/month.

very nice place w/ an awesome landlord...very lucky to have found this house.

 

Clean 2bed 2 bath, nice big living room, decent kitchen w/ dishwasher, balcony, covered gated parking for 1 car and plenty of uncovered gated parking, pool w/hot tub, free satalite TV (25 channels), by down town Mtn View for $1150/month.

 

seriously...can you get me the information for this place. I'd like to check into it.
