Cool. Maybe we can meet up tonight for some coffee...all those interested. And I can give everyone directions.

Otherwise we'll have to pick a meeting place and time friday and do it then. But I'd like to confirm numbers so I know how many people are coming and how many people want me to pick up meat for them for Sat night bbq.

I took friday off so we can leave at a decent hour if need be. I'll have to see what time my bro can meet us in angels.

I am getting my oil chance friday morning in santa cruz. Then I have to drop the cadi off for exhaust work in fremont...if anyone is gonna be around and is down to give me a lift home that would be awesome.

Directions are easy. I'll PM directions and phone numbers to everyone that confirms they are going.

So far I have Cliff, Justin and Jeff. myself and my bro.

Maybe's from Eastbay, doughboy and andy.

My car has a spot for one more. It's got me and Justin in it until Angels. My bro from angels to Arnold.

Distance is about 140 miles from fremont. Takes anywhere from 2.5-3 hoursish. I've done it in under 2 before but I don't plan to drive that fast again. 125mph all the way down 4 is sketchy.

So plan on that....3 hours if we stop in Tracy for some In/Out.

basically depending on where we meet....figure if we meet in fremont we'll take niles out to 680 to 84 through livermore. 580 to 205 to the 5 to the 4. Take the 4 up and in.

There are a couple other short cuts that might come in for those that are following me. you might learn something new...might not. haaa. But we might venture out 120 and jack tone road.

What time you dropping the cadi off man? Let me know, I'm gonna be at Dawn's in the morning then head back over to this side probably in the afternoon. On a side note, I'm heading to the bar tonight for a drink with Dawn and D is down too. Hit me up.

My oil change is at 10:30. I'm gonna try and kick back with the dude that might help me paint the cadi. I may or may not grab lunch with my mom's have to call her.

So no mom's and I should be home by like noonish. lunch with mom's I'll be home around 2.

I can drop off the cadi anytime you'll be around......so say if you're coming back at 3...I'll do it then.

As for tonight. I'm down. Tell D to call me. I can pick him up on my way home tonight and he can help me bang on the cadi until it's time to head over. Or I can swing by and help him bang on the bel air. My phone gets pissed when I try to call him...weird.

Weekend is gonna be sick man. Snow on Wed and Friday. WOOOOOOOT.

You gonna need a board. Not sure about the 166 yet. But we've got a 165 you can smash on if you want. Santa Cruz. I've also got a 152 and a 159 if anyone is in need.

We've got......hmmmm... I think 9 boards up there. going from 146 to 166.

snow updates.

Looks like parts of Wed/Thurs/Friday chances of rain/snow every day. I'd think we'll see at most 5 inches of snow at bear...i'm just hoping we don't get rain. Sat there WILL be snow. On and off. Probably not much. But if we get lucky with the 9 inches we got and the possibilities of the week and Sat we should be able to get some decent lines on Sat and enjoy some decent weather on Sunday.

But damn...looking at the precip charts. Canada is gonna be getting HAMMERED over the next 10-14 days. Kinda like we did in march. That's them in April. I wouldn't be surprised to see whistler get close to 15 feet in April.

There's a nice storm coming in, 2 actually over the next couple weeks but I doubt they'll hit us much. But that's good fro you sun lovers. In like 10-12 days I wouldn't be surprised to see a short but pretty heavy rain hit us. Maybe a foot of snow up at the resorts.

Yea don't worry about the 166. I would only want to use it if it were like serious pow. Less likely to do any damage. I wouldn't want to **** up that board. I'll give D a call and let him know. I'm glad we're gonna get some snow though. I was hoping it wouldn't be slush.

don't need no stinkin thumb to snowboard. sheesh. Plus..I got enough drugs to make you forget about your thumb in one way or another....thanks to knee surgery.

IT's cool though cause I can't go all crazy anyways. I'm mellow turn and stroll guy this season. Just trying to get my turns in. Stupid knee. Stupid fat me.

It'll still be fun.

Live webcam is showing snow.

Ok It's about that time.

I'll email everyone that has said they are in when I get back from this lunch meeting.

Raggae on the mountain.....Sunday. $15 gets you a special pint glasses an 8 tastes of beers from cool microbreweries. I strongly suggest some of the firehouse brews. We'll get some "tastes" from snowshoe on Sat. haaaa.

Buy your ticket on Sat. If you're a student it's cheap as hell. Then show them that ticket on sunday and you get a free one.

So basically if you're a student you can snowboard for $25 for two days and have a free crash pad. How cool is that.

Expect emails with directions early this afternoon. Get back to me as soon as you know you're coming and if you're following me up or coming up on your own.

...but let's try it anyway!

i'll try to find the actual info on their site in a sec! if it doesn't work out, i know we can get lift tix for $38 w/ student ID...or we can get vouchers @costco good for 2 tix @$69.99.

btw, Ray, i'll be off tomorrow as well so i can head out before the evening commute if you're thinking to do the same.

sweet...sounds like leaving early might be the way to go. That way if people come up later I can have the heat on, the water heat on, crap like that.

We'll have a PS2 up there. Right now it looks like GT4, Fight Night, Madden are the popular games we can throw down on. Anything else is welcome...we'll have ATV as well.

oh....and I wouldn't ge the $70 deal since you can use Sat's tickets to get free ones sunday. I really need to call....sorry. I'll call when I get back.

you are correct, sir! i only mentioned the 2-fer-70 deal for two folks that don't have any other hook-up for sat. they could go in on it together to only spend $35 each, then, of course, get the freebie for sun. my bad for not being pacific!

I'll send everyone PM's tonight. Look for them. Call me tonight with questions.

Meeting time. Everyone post your prefered meeting time.

I have the day off and will be back in down early afternoon. My cadi might not make it to the shop. Stupid parts didn't come in. I'm PISSSSED.

Also include meat preference. Skirt Steak or Tri-tip. remember that we will be hungry after snowboarding and tri-tip takes like 3 times longer to cook.
