i'm sure he must have had "all season tires".

same mentality w/ those SUVs up in tahoe... just because they have "snow" tires they think they can mob up/down the hill at 80+...

even "rain tires" can only help so much in keeping your tires in contact w/ the rain... if there's enough rain... and you are going at a high enough speed... YOU WILL HYDROPLANE! (and yes... EVERN if you have AWD... laws of physics still applies to you)

live and learn... i'm sure the next time this guy gets in the car when its raining... he'll slow down.

Wonder if he saw that same one...I only saw the one car flip...but it's possible that other traffic hit him once his car was sitting there upside-down. That's the main reason I didn't stop and get out...last thing I need is to get smeared across the highway trying to help some moron out.
