Dang, that V8 has got to be throwing off the balance of that car though (front/rear weight).

Until the 2005 model year (Caddy Evoq and one of the other new Caddy's), there was never a RWD Northstar motor setup from GM!

Looks like they used both the motor and tranny from GM.

Decent motor, but the LS1 gets more power from a smaller (size-wise) and lighter package (LLS1 = all alum motor, surprisingly light!). Only problem would be mating up the LS1 with a FWD tranny.
