I was driving home from San Jose earlier today and I saw:

-a city popo motorcycle coming off of 280 onto 101 south.
-shortly after he exited I saw a CHP coming up towards me from behind.
-maybe 10 miles south of the 280/101 junction there was a CHP motorcycle with his radar out sitting in the shadows of an overpass.
-less than 1/4 of a mile south of him was another chp motorcycle that had pulled someone over (might have been a small speed trap).
-about a mile south of him, on the northbound side was another chp motorcycle sitting on the side of an onramp than banked as it turned, so no one headed north could see him.

I think that was all for up towards there, but there were more south of gilroy near prunedale.

-where theres a road inbetween 101N and 101S there was a CHP car hidden, but I think the officer was napping because his head was down
-about a mile south of him was a CHP patrol car waiting to get on 101S
-finally, a ways south of them was a chp motorcycle on the northbound side that had someone pulled over.

 

Looks like cruise control will be on tomorrow for my trip to SFO.....

 

yeah they were doing speed enforcement on 101 today, get Sirrius Satalite radio, they anounced it on their SF Traffic channel.

not just 101, i was driving on my way to work in fremont and there were cops everywhere. be careful out there BAIC.

hmm, i thought they just recevied salaries and still the beginning of the month. damn police, stop wasting our money. :P

 

i dont get upset at CHP for doing that stuff...because that is their territory...the HIGHWAY...but city cops have been crap to deal with seriously....although i was doing 85-100 off and on today on 680S during 2 trips into concord/walnut creek lol dont worry i wasnt weaving...i was in the car pool lane during non-carpool hours

 

just on my way home today from work in SJ from 280 to 680, i saw at least a half a dozen cruisers out there.

summer vacation just starting now, ive been on break for at least 3 weeks now.

I was in my new 06 TR getting road head while I was totally wasted on pain killers all while racing another car WHILE I was cleaning one of my pistols... This all happened in a school zone btw.

between fremont blvd and alvarado niles on 880, on both sides, CHP had someone pulled over...

 

COPS are everywhere, sometimes more than others, but regardless it's becoming easier to get tickets these days...I think?
