I'd love to get pulledover by your cop buddies...call it winning the Lotto.
PC is a bong on your front seat.
PC is a spent shell casing on the dash driving while in a neighborhood that just had a drive by.

PC is not a lowered car.
Bottom line: If you get pulled over & are asked to pop the hood, say "Not w/out a warrant."

Not true~

If you modify ANY part of your emissions system, from forcastle to fantail, you are in trouble. That is, without a stupid EO number. An intercooler is totally illegal.

Just FYI

fmic

The issue with the fmic in california is the 5mph bumber law. the vehicle code states that a 5mph or under collison to the front end must be under 500 bucks of damage. thus a front mout being in front of the bumper and costing $1000 plus is way over 500 buck and therefore illigal. the only thing truely illigal is fussing with the smog equip, or modifying the exaust system in a way that is over 95dB.

just my 2 cents

if anyone is interested you can get the california vehicle code at the dmv for 3 bucks, its well worth it

That is also a Federal law. But, if you replace ANYTHING, between the INTAKE, and the REAR O2 sensor, in the Communist State of Kalifornia, and it does not have a stupid CARB OE# it is 100% ILLEGAL.

Why do you think that a stupid intake is illegal? It is all a big revenue scam by the state and CARB. All of those companies that have the parts with the OE#'s have to fork out large amounts of dough to get them certified.

I am SERIOUSLY thinking of trying to get something going on changing the regulations. Trying to get us on the sniffer only test (Just like the Federal law mandates).

I don't see it happening though. It has too much to do with $$$. Everything in this state is $$$ driven, especially politics.

I don't think this is correct, if it was, an expensive paint job would make your car illegal.

You are right, that is a law that Manufactures must abide by, not you and me. And it is a FEDERAL LAW. It has nothing to do with our SOCIALIST state. That is either the DOT, or the NTSB that makes those laws about crash tests.
