Anyone have i phone regrets?
JR, you seem to have more fun at it, how is the battery life on it? I know 3G is not out yet till when they release it. (we all have 3G and that is why I am hesitant to get one) 3G rocks period....................
1regul,
Drop calls is due to area that he frequents that may be Verizon dominant and could also be hardware related. Have him see aniother store/att owned store not those dealers coz they wont do squat.

gino
thank you again....

I have no problem with Battery life. I do have to charge it everyday which I am not used to. I don't actually talk on the phone that often. If you know you need battery life and won't need Wi-Fi turn it off. The same with bluetooth.
If it offers the features you want in a cool form factor and you can afford it then buy it. That's it. Don't buy it if you want more than it offers which is what most of the people *****ing about it did.

That, and they're "free" to them, so why say no to a free $500 phone.

Oh trust me, I wouldn't doubt it. I mean, "oooo, it's an I-Phone" coming from friends and relatives of theirs continuously with the "wow, your work issued that to you?!?" would be plenty enough for any American to smile and love their I-Phone.

Ahh yes..the battery life. I won't lie, it's pretty damn bad. On an average day of surfin the web with it for a total of like 15min, maybe 15 mins of games, then playing music with it for about an hour a day it's toast. I'm usually down to 10% by the time I'm goin to bed.
Thank you again, I think if there was one for around 200 bucks "used" I would buy it in a snap so we can play with it.
As you all know, i phone 3G is bound to come out sooner or later and by then there will be more for us to choose from but for now having music (i pod like) and phone and web (bigger screen and even at 2G is fast enough trust me) into one gadget is great for our daily needs and speciallllly for my wife coz that will eliminate at least one gadget. The battery life is the issue and not the "FAD". With my discount, we swap phones more times in a year than normal but cant do jack with the i phone coz Apple controls it.

The biggest question is will the battery really last long enough to even be practical for my wife, like a plane trip to the eastcoast (music in use)or a session of aerobics and go home with battery left to call home etc. Continous use of 15 minutes is not enough battery life if that real time bro.

Nobody got them for free - everyone paid for them and gave back free work phones.

I think with all PDA/SmartPhones, I believe they recommend having it charged each night. Even with my old phone, continuous talk would kill the battery within a few hours. *shrug*
