Anyone have i phone regrets?
Only way to really know if it's for you: go play with one in a store.

What part don't you know about? I personally make my own decisions when buying something, not following trends or hype. The phone does exactly what Apple said that it would.
Caveat: my phone was a bonus from work. I would still be happy if I had shelled out the money for it.

Can you use the iphone as teether for a laptop, etc...? I'd love to get one but I can't man up and break my Verizon contract. Any news on when Verizon could get one?

Tether: It is possible already, though remember, its over EDGE.
Verizon: Probably never - they were the first ones apple approached, and turned it down. As a result, ATT got an exclusive 5 year contract.

Some of you Apple die-hards should check my other thread out. I could really use some help.

We have many many i-phones at work, and they suck. I was interested in getting one but the cons are pretty hefty. After using one at work for a few hours I quickly realized its just a trend gadget, and is not useful at all. I just lacks the practicality that I want. I love my blackjack, it really (nearly) does it all and i only paid $75 for it.

Interesting. We have many iphones at my office too, and everyone loves them. Most people got rid of the blackberries, treos and blackjacks in favor of an iphone, and not one has asked for it back to my knowledge.
I think this thread has turned into those who have justified the cost of the iPhone and those who can't justify the cost of the iPhone.
