Matt, I have a bunch of connections with various animal rescues as my sister is heavily involved in volunteering her time, so I'll coordinate with her and see which shelter needs the most help and what not.

Sorry I haven't contacted you...
This thread inspired me to take in a dog and foster it... He was a half wiener half beagle, about a year old. I had my wife take some pics of him and me in the backyard, and literally a day after sending out the pics he was adopted. I'll post the pics: (crappy small version of the original).
(This is from a normal person with a decent camera, imagine with a talented photog!)
(PS: I took him to the shelter to get all his shots, got him fixed and microchipped. )
