Any1 have experience with these Double Din Car Radio Manufactures?

My stock radio is on a fritz..basically skipping from CD to Cd, dont know what is wrong. I dont have $400-$500 to drop on a Pioneer, Alpine. (Ya Ya, you get what you pay for...)

Since the stock radio can fit a Double Din, I said why not.

I ran thru some brands called Farenheit, Power Acoustik and Pyle..Dunno if they are good?

If you have these let me know the opinions...

Thanks!

almost all of them look like a single DIN unit with a double DIN screen.

If your price rance is low (like mine's was) look at the Pioneer AVH-P4300 DVD i got it from HookedOnTronics.com

http://www.hookedontronics.com/show_...64&brandtype=0

Free shipping and good price. I personally don't trust any of the above brands, and the quality of Pioneer head units are top notch.

spend the extra $100 for a unit that will last you and have all the perks of other $500 units.

I have one of these. I'm about to send it in for a navigation repair. It will then be for sale. The repair is $200. Ill probably sell it for $400obo as a warrantied refurbished unit.

Why not try to sell it for $200 without the upgrade?
