I think I heard something once about the # of vehicles foreeign manufacturers can import per year. hence Honda "owning" Acura, Toyota/Lexus, Nissan/Infinity,Etc. this would be the reason we see Dodge/Eagle badged Mitsu's. Would the boys at Fuji Heavy Industries do this to us? If so, what would they name the overpriced WRX's with gold badges? lol

Renault owns Nissan, or at least has a controlling share.
VW/Audi also owns Seat and Skoda.
I think Toyota owns Daihatsu.
Fiat owns Alfa-Romeo/Lancia/Ferrari/Maserati, and GM owns a large chunk of Fiat.
Peugeot owns Citroen and Venturi.
Also, Ford now owns Land Rover.
