Any recommendations for ordering a 2015 WRX?

Hit up the internet sales guy at Putnam. He had the best prices I could find on the forester I just bought my wife. Daniel Dishart.
I tried to go through Santa Cruz Subaru but it was turning in to a PITA and they don't have anything in stock. They were trying to get me a car from Fresno for more money than me just buying it from the people in Fresno direct. Made zero sense.
Daniel will give you the lowest price possible and just leave it there. He doesn't get paid based on how much profit he makes. He gets paid for the cars he sells.
Good dude. I've actually got to go back out there next week if you want me to talk to him.

I preordered for my 2015 and from my experience I would say call every dealership in the area as far as you're willing to drive. During that time it was tough to get any dealers to come off MSRP, but they are willing to once you have a quote in hand from another dealer. Capitol was the only one who would budge then without driving all the way to Reno or having shipped from Heuberger. I heard Serramonte was giving deals for orders near invoice, but I think the Reno dealer is undercutting everyone here short of Heuberger now. Their website is advertising STI Limiteds for ~$1500 off MSRP which shouldn't be a tough bid to push to invoice or negotiate an order or current stock.

In order to order from us (maita subaru) you have to put down $500, and then pick what you want on it. As for price i can't really help you or tell you that you will get the best deal, but i would recomend to call and ask.

I would just call every dealership in the area and ask for the best price, or you can e-mail all the Internet Sales guys and just cc: them in the e-mail, then they know you're not ****ting around.
Buy it from wherever, and service it at an indie shop, because as best I can tell, all dealer Subaru service departments around here suck.
I bought my car through Albany Subaru and it was a pleasant transaction, but at the time WRXs weren't exactly easy to get so I didn't haggle much and the price was fair. They also gave me a decent amount for my GTI that had a service ding in CarFax.

If you want to overpay, go to Hansel (where they still have $3,000 markups on MSRP for the BRZ) or perhaps Stevens Creek Screwbaru.
I'd try looking on the internet, and perhaps looking north (Fowler Motors, Ukiah??) where they still build relationships instead of try to suck the most money out of your wallet. Just a thought and YMMV.
