Any ill effects on lowered car with 4-5 adults?
i think we're reading into this too much. we're talking about prodrive springs with kyb gr2 shocks. this is such a common run of the mill setup that it shoulda came stock! i can understand not wanting to drive in sf if you had, like, the lowest and stiffest coilovers in the godam world. but we're talking about prodrives here people - something that drops just about as much as sti pinks. [/facetious banter]
lol i didnt mean to sound like such a jacka$$
matt, once you put on your new suspension, you will kick yourself for not doing it earlier. it will be less bouncy and less body roll, everything you are looking for. if you need help with installation, lemme know.

haha, no worries, I needed someone to be blunt
You said you can help...is this as in "do most of the work and supply all the proper tools"? I have a skate key and about 5 random metric tools. Oh, and no gargage.
That would be great!

I had Prodrive springs installed over stock struts in my '06 and last weekend I had 5 adults in the sedan going through San Francisco with absolutely no rubbing, bottoming, nor any suspension issue.
It is a mild drop, but I still recommend that you be a little more mindful when you enter/exit sharp driveways, speedbumps, etc., so that your front end doesn't scrape. With that said, the front end of the '06 is slightly longer than previous years, yet I haven't scraped after driving over countless driveways that seem to meet the street at a 90 degree angle! Use common sense, when going over certain road conditions.
In the end, I am completely happy with the Prodrive springs and I would do it again and again. I will be installing the KYB AGX soon, as well.
You won't be disappointed.
BTW, I had my Prodrive springs installed at Auto Innovation in Milpitas. Those guys are very proficient, friendly, professional and they know Subaru.

The springs and struts are going in on the 21st. Would strutops/tophats be a good investment? Like the group n's?
I did some searches, but didnt come up with much info. What exactly would they do, what benifets? More NVH?
TIA
