Another oh **** moment added to my life
I have always replaced brake lines every 6-10, that reminds me the ones in the camry are about due.

Yeah hopefully the replacement set will have the rubber casing.

That's why I went with the Goodridge blacks this time. They have that coating. If you have damage from contact/rubbing though, sleeves won't stop that sort of failure.

Dang d0de! Glad nothing happened!
I personally have been partial to Techna-Fit brake line over Goodridge or StopTech ones. PTFE core inside, a stainless steel wire braided cover, and PVC protective covering on the outside. I don't know how others are built now, but I continue to have fewer issues with these *runs to check them regardless*

Yeah went through.
Probably occasionally hitting when turning. The new lines should be fine. $40 for some stoptech. Blah blah not the best but only thing I could get Right now.

Yeah these replacements I got are coated on top of the SS braids.

If you shop around, Techna Fit are typically $20-30 cheaper than Goodridge of StopTech (at least last time I bought them). But yeah...I was kinda a sucker for the color as well
