Ford Europe is a different beast than Ford US. These cars are gonna be built in Germany.. Besides, the old RS's were good cars and you won't hear many issues with it.

Seems like the engine will be better than the one on the stang.. It will have a different head (alloy wise), intake manifold, twin-scroll turbo, high tensile cast iron cylinder liners, head gasket to name a few. Crossing my fingers it's using 4032 AL forged pistons..

Oh man, so many buzzwords. What a fascinating modern age we live in! If I were a teenager I would be totally excited about this car.

Well, you don't have to be a teenager to be excited about this car. It's basically just Ford's version of an STI hatch right? :-P

Has there been any technical papers regarding the awd system? I mean if it's brake assisted, which would be not so good.

It's already been mentioned in the articles and in the press release.

The front's are Brake Assisted Torque Vectoring, while the Rears are both Clutch Vectoring Controlled in the rear diff, and rear brake vectoring controlled (eq. Similar to the S-AYC system in the EVOX)

The center diff is electronically controlled and can send up to 70% of drive torque to the rear axles. Once on the rear axles, Rear Diff clutch packs can send up to 100% of that torque to either rear left, rear right wheels as needed (S-AYC).

As long as it works, I'm willing to give it a shot. It could be a really good B Street car in autox.
