There is no IS350-F. There's only IS250, IS350, and IS-F

Stock 1/4 mile bench racing traps:
STi's trap around 100-102 mph
IS350's trap around 105 mph
IS-F's trap around 113-115 mph
M3's trap around 111-113 mph

As for the IS-F it isn't an M3 killer. It's a bit faster in a straightline, but can't keep up with the M3 on the track with equal drivers.

But that's only for a no option, base model IS-F.

Things get expensive when you add options. I got a quote for $51.5k (MSRP at $54k) on an M3 sedan with no options. The MSRP with a couple options balloon to around $70k

Must have been the previous generation M3. They had 333hp

The current gen M3 has 414hp

I think this says it all. If it is in fact a real IS-F, and not some IS350, you'll have to trap at least 115 to be able to beat it from a roll. In the 1/4, it does 12.385 @ 115, according to Wikipedia. According to some previous posts, an '04-'05 STI with a turboback and tune (stage 2) can probably do about 12.5 @ 108-109 with a 100 octane tune. So basically, even with a basic stage 2 setup running a 100 octane map, you'll lose, both from a dig and from a roll, although it'll be closer from a dig.

Infiniti of Oakland had a Blue Mica IS-F for 45k with only a few thousand miles on it IIRC not too long ago...Gorgeous car. Also, a "base" IS-F comes with more goodies than a "base" M3. Similarly equipped, an M is quite a bit more cash.
