I was 23 and working at a cellular phone shop in Redwood City. Well, my dumb*** walked over to the liquor shop next door for a snack on my break... HUGE mistake .. Let's just say I stole a shopping cart from some chick standing next to me and pulled it over myself and her... (double wide cart - Liquor Barn)
Yea, her dumb hubby ran in after the quake was over slipped and fell on his face from all the broken bottles and booze. He got his face and hands totally messed up.

I walked out of it okay.. Though, I smelled like a whino..

I'd take an earthquake over Godzilla any day. I used to be a big *** King Kong fan when I was living in Germany, and my dad used to screw with me and tell me that if I did something bad that he'd go and talk to King Kong for my punishment... I totally believed him... I was like 5 or 6
Like I said, I was a dumb *** 7 year old kid. I was actually let down when I got the the window and didnt see anything. my mom then ran over, picked me up, and threw me under a table. BTW, I think Godzilla could kick King Kongs ***.

i've slept through a lot of stuff too, small earthquakes that hit SJ every now and then, my neighbor's house burning down, loads of stuff.

the most recent big one that was like a 3.6 and they kept showing store get owned when their merchandise falling off the shelves calling it a really big earthquake, i was taking a nap and heard about the carnage that had ensued when i woke up.

Watching TV on a waterbed, huge shakeness, but nothing fell apart. Only thing that fell over was 1 picture frame that was leaning on the wall. Other than that, it was a pretty long scary shake.
