Call Kevin to know for sure. The dealer number is 510-651-5600

Thumbs up +1 here as well to SoF

Just had my oil change and rotation done this afternoon. Only 9.95 for the oil change! Kevin handled the paperwork and had me out of there in a timely manner. Overall, I was very pleased with the customer service and lack of sales vultures when browsing the lot.

I'd pay that much for an oil change! trying to keep all the oil and crap and then dump it is a PITA.

I'd easily bring my own oil and then have them change it. Sweet.

Will they work a modified car?

Yea, got my WRX from there (actually one of the managers used to own it). Kevin is a cool guy, helped me solve some issues that I had with my Scooby.

I actually went to elementary school with him. I'm glad he's working for a Suby dealership that is doing things right. As to the dealership being mod friendly, I've had no problems so far. The only gripe was that they couldn't put my car through the automatic washer because it's too low in front... Oops? I'm heading back either today or Monday (most likely Monday) to have a wheel bearing put in. Here's my list of things I like about Subaru of Fremont:

+ Reps have people skills
+++ Techs have people skills
+ They call you when they say they will
+ They actually care
+ Employees have a sense of humor
+ They are not Stevens Creek

Actually, I think that last one pretty much sums it all up.

I think the real question is... How modified? I don't think they'll have a problem with suspension stuff. Now, if you're getting in to different turbos, uppipe, downpipe, strange ECU maps... well, it'd probably be wise to call them ahead of time. Though, next I speak with Kevin I'll be sure to ask.

Well, it's definitely not warranty work! not at 169,000 miles.

but yeah, headers, high flow cat, catback, intake... way too many suspension mods.

But for a simply oil change, i think they won't really care.

I'd even pay $20 with my own oil. Still a deal for me, don't have to handle the waste oil.

Yeah... I'd pay the money for them to use my own oil as well. As much as I love changing my oil, I don't :-)

Is it really that shiny?

[runs to look]

I guess it is. I'd never noticed that before.

Yeah... Showroom full of STi's... It's hot. I wonder how often they have to clean the floor?

My friend and I said the showroom could easily be turned into a night club.

If you look up there are like places on the second story for dancers and DJs lol.

But watch out Soobs of Fremont, I'm racking up Subaru Chase Master card bucks.

MAOWHAHAHAHHAHA
