I guess any fight involving an Irish guy should be his fault because "the Irish like to get drunk and fight." Got a crime with a black suspect? Close the case boys, the black guy must be guilty cause everybody knows they're only do sports and crime.
Why don't you wait for the facts of the case, rather than judge an individual overinclusively based on a perception of a group they belong to?

My instructor from Motorcycle safety school put it best: "I don't care if a plane falls on your from out of the sky, its still your fault."
If you ride any length of time you know how to spot possible dangers well before they can occur.
Sorry, its his fault if he was speeding, his fault if he wasn't paying attention, his fault for possibly not braking properly and definitely his fault for not wearing real gear. (I wear an aerostich ALWAYS, boots, and full helmet and gloves).
Isn't Safety School required for under 18?

of course when u see the words motocycle and 16 year old..its automically the 16 year old's fault, thats why insurance rates for us (teens) are so damn high! but it sucks that the kid lost his life, having a motocycle like that comes with responsibility and consequences..i thikn him and his parents knew that.

I started on a 250 Ninja before getting a 600 Ninja in college. After a near-death experience (can you say divine intervention?) I sold the bike and have not ridden one since. If I ever buy a bike, it will be a dirt bike. The closest I will ever get to a street bike is my S2000. My kids will never ride street bikes. Period. Not because I won't trust them, but rather because I know how many stupid drivers there are on the road.
Here's another vote to change the title of the thread. Definitely not appropriate considering the kid died.

actually the speed limit could have been 45, there is a road by me that is 45 but 25 when kids are present so i bet a 45 mph crash could have done that.

And then you provide proof with a personal anecdote? So it's impossible that younger people don't look carefully? Well I've actually had some 16-yo kid hit me because he wasn't looking before pulling out of driveway, so tit for tat where does that put your argument?
Look, I get that you're just voicing your opinion based on incomplete information. But if you're going to hazard a guess, at least do us the intellectual favor of basing it on the situation at hand (like examining the skidmarks or the positions of the vehicles), don't just go around saying that it has to be the older person's fault because older people as a group don't drive well.
