I wasn't aware how much damage could be done at lower speeds until recently. I was on my BICYCLE and went down at 35mph on the street. Got pretty messed up. The dr. kept asking for my helmet to see how it faired. I had to tell him 5-10 times I didn't ride with a helmet before he would believe me. He said I should be dead. I didn't take him seriously until i ran into a guy with a helmet in his hand that was WORKED. He went down like 3mph faster than I was going. Made me realize.
On top of that a friend of mine hit a parked semi truck trailer with his face while riding backwards..he does that stunting stuff. I wasn't there but from my understanding he wasn't halling *** by any means. Nearly killed him. The pressure from the impact busted the side of his face open and did some MAJOR damage to his nose. Ripping it up pretty gnarly and braking it.

fanker...did the dog survive?
Yeah..those accident reconstruction people are good. I had an accident with my truck. Car ran a red. I slid. hit. Totalled...etc.
My folks know a guy that used to work for ford and now does accident reconstruction. He put in everything to the point of my tread debth and body weight, skid lengths.etc...that detailed. Came out with this fat report saying there was no way I was speeding...I said I was going 42 in a 40. The report came back 40mph. Impact at 5-10mph. All the force of the accident came from the other car...blah blah...Long story short I lost my truck because the police officer misquoted me and screwed up the report and refused to own up to his mistake and my insurance company wasn't helping at all.
But needless to say...those guys no their stuff.

a lot of school zones are 25 when children present and 35 at other times, it is summer, so the speed limit was prolly 35... in a 35 zone most people speed a little bit, so call it 40-45 and i still dont think that is irresponsible. be honest how fast does the speed of traffic flow in a 35 zone, sometimes upwards of 50
i also think owned is a little jacked, the kid died, he was only 16

From what the picture looks like he was traveling WAY to fast.... i feel bad for the kids family and all but what about the person he ran into.... if she lives and isnt stuck in a chair or bed she'll have to deal with this nightmare for the rest of her life......

Wow sucks. I had a White/Red F4i before too. Friend who had the Silver/Red died in an accident on 880. Silver/Red is an unlucky color I think.

Also, why the **** do old people drive big *** cars??! I think old people should only be allowed to drive Honda CRX HF's, that way if they decide to pull an asshat move like in this case, Darwin will have his way with them much easier.
wow you guys should all be c.s.i. writers... i mean, you just see one picture, and bam, youve figured it all out.
but what is even more stupid than that, is the fact that someone gave a 16 year old with minimal experience on the road a 600cc sportbike.
