Hey guys,
I was expecting a call back on Fri but they never called me back. I'll call back today and ask to talk directly to the owner Mike as Yee75 mentioned above.
The list is now 6 of us and should enable a much better deal.
1) xqwizit
2) Hkwan
3) wagonrex
4) topcover
5) cashis
6) speedyscooby
I have everyone's car info except for Hkwan and wagonrex. Year and sedan/wagon is what I need.
Also, if everyone can PM me their phone #, I'll contact each of you once I get the final quote.

I'd like to get in on this. I too would like PPG auto glass. No tinted strip. Warranty. Not all glass is equal. The tinted strip is no good for detectors. The Dot Matrix like the oem is ok.

OK I've recently done a bit of leg work myself. I called the PPG distributor in Santa Clara and they gave me a number for a shop HNA autoglass. The guys name is Ken. He also said that he'd be willing to offer a discount on labor. He will be getting bacl to me shortly. He also said that there is a huge difference in auto glass. That is why he only offers PPG glass. He says it saves him money on warranty claims because of thier quality. Updates soon to come. I
P.S. side note, I'm not trying to step on toes here and I thank you for the work you have done. I personally demand PPG glass. The rest of you should too.

Hey guys,
Good news! I just got off the phone with Mike of Best Auto Glass. For a group buy of 8, this is what I was quoted.
'02-'03
Aftermarket windshield: $135
PPG windshield: $150
'05
Aftermarket windshield: $175
PPG windshield: $210
This is a great price and probably unbeatable or very hard to beat. Anyhow, give Mike a call at (408)392-9032 and set up an appt to have your glass installed. Mention that you are with Benny for the WRX windshield group buy and he'll honor these prices. I'm going to call right now to make my appt.
Good luck everyone!

Hey guys, I made an appt for this Fri and Mike took a deposit from me b/c he says that the place where he orders PPG from won't allow returns. Should be no problem but just wanted to let you guys know. Glad it worked out for everyone. Hopefully we can give him repeat business and he'll continue to offer group buys in the future.
