The game console is destroying people's tv's??? So like, you go to work, come home, and the Wii has eaten or penetrated your tv? Or is this another "people are stupid" thread...

Honestly, people throwing their controllers at their TV's is a little different from a console "destroying" them...

Pretty funny either way...

honestly it can get pretty competitive playin Wii sports. espeically the bowling IMO haha. but i dont see how people are getting SO into it that they actually throw them at their TV screens. after playing it at my homies house the past few weeks, weve had no problems with dropping/throwing the controller.

They're just stupid. They'd get so much into Wii sports that they forget they're supposed to hold onto the the controller and let go of it in mid motion while playing bowling or tennis. So that strap snaps. I heard they're replacing it with a sturdier strap now.

The incidents I've heard of is the wrist strap breaking and then the remote flying at the TV. Though I'm sure ppl are throwing the remote out of frustration as well. That's inevitable.
