vf30 vf34???

need help whant to get a new turbo do not know what to get
vf30 or 34?? and what is the diff??

I believe the 30 has sleeve bearings, while the 34 has ball bearings. They are both good for about 375hp.

Ball bearings allow for quicker spool. Check with some of the vendors from the list on the home page for this site. I'm sure I saw information of this nature on one of the sites.

go with a 34, they can be had for just as cheap as a 30 nowadays.

do the vf series turbos fit on turbo kits for the RS like the Avo or FAT?

Good call The 30 is almost as much as the 34 and I've heard that they aren't as nearly relaible as the vf34, I have a friend at work who is running a vf34 on his WRX and he has roughly 370hp. and he is very happy with it.

They fit the same brackets and flanges as a stock WRX TD04 would, so typically no. You would have to find out which turbo specifically the kit you are interested in is using, but afaik all the ready-made kit producers use different flanges than the TD04 or VF series turbos.
