Garret T28 or equivalent works pretty well. I am putting a VF30 on mine in the next few weeks, but that's probably too big. Darn, I guess I'll just have to put an STi block under there instead.

Piecing my kit together almost entirely from off-the-shelf parts. The basics:
VF30
WRX headers, custom uppipe, custom exhaust
crossmember swap
semi-custom Vishnu Xede or WRX ECU swap + reflash + Xede
WRX intercooler
STi v6 splitter + scoop
WRX bypass valve
Vishnu hoses
STi injectors (if they fit the SOHC manifold- haven't determined if that is possible yet, RC Engineering 550s if they don't)
custom TBD oil and water plumbing to the turbo
Walbro fuel pump
Defi 52mm gauges
WRX A/C line
There are probably still some details I haven't figured out, like routing the cruise control and such, but nothing that can't be worked with. I am also still trying to decide how to control boost, since I can't use the Xede for that unless I do the ECU swap, which I want to avoid.
Also, since neither the short block nor gearbox can handle that much power for long, I intend to add the EJ257 block and 6MT to it later. Going to see what I can get out of what I have first though.
