yes it will...and that is prolly the best kit out there...but you could prolly get one cheaper if you pieced together your own kit...but that takes a lot more time and patience (i esp like the numbers that kit makes)

new motor-$3000

new hood- $800 or fmic $1000 (or you could cut your own hole)
springs-$200
labor-$$$
and whatever else you need that u won't know about until you do it. Also keep in mind that car has a vin#, im sure you know what that is. When you go to get your emmissions, you have to pass for that vin#. Your smog limits are required to be lower than a 2.5 turbo. YOU CANNOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS! And back to the resale of this vehicle, you will only be able to sell it for what an rs is worth. Anyone who has modded a car and sold it knows this. Being lazy has nothing to do with it! Making good decisions does. And having a turbo rs is not slick, role up with that and people will laugh and say "Why didnt you get a wrx?" I rest my case!
Ur rediculous.... heres the real price.

New WRX longblock with under 50,000 miles - $2000
exhaust- $150 at a muffler shop.
re-flash. What, why? WRX ECU - $100
motor mounts- USE YOUR STOCK ONES
new hood- $DIRT CHEAP or fmic $500 Used
labor- Do it yourself

Everyone knows you can pay off most smog guys and get your car smogged.....

Add: And about the whole 'why didnt oy buy a wrx' thing... ur lame. 1. Cheaper, 2. Cheaper Insurance

well well..its crazy i actually read the whole thread here..hey thanks zavier and honey3k for sticking up for people like me..i own a 00 RS..and already got alot of used parts to turbo it..doin it all myself..i wont go into details of what parts and how the fitment is..but when im done..its not only goin to be faster then wrx..but STIs better watch it too..
and how come no one mentioned power to weight ratio? last time i checked..RS was about 400+ lbs lighter than STI..and im also not running heater or AC...got lighter pullys..light wheels..4 puc clutch and flywheel..and umm and no back seats..just front 2 racing seats...
i can go on and on..

well anyways..take care folks..

I like the pre 2001's being turbo'ed just because it has a more sleeper look, all other subaru's just look almost as aggressive (besides the huge wings) because of the scoop and a bunch of other things cops look out for.

Not sure about the smog emission payout is... but if you're doing all of this just to pay cheaper insurance... (not sure by how much 50-100 a month maybe?) the investment is already too much in my opinion.

If you got the time then go ahead... its your money, it's possible, just wouldn't be an investment that many others would make.
